Paper Poached by Julie Parmentier
ADR GALLERY is pleased to present an exclusive collaboration with graphic designer Julie Parmentier, founder of Papier Poché, featuring an original series of 15 stencil illustrations. An encounter that highlights a unique universe, at the crossroads of contemporary graphic design and artisanal craftsmanship.
Since the creation of Papier Poché in 2016, Julie Parmentier has been developing a committed approach aimed at rehabilitating the stencil in graphic design. Through this still underutilized medium, she transforms technical constraints into a creative driver, offering a sensitive alternative to more widespread processes like screen printing.
Her hybrid creative process combines digital tools with manual gesture. Each visual is first designed on a computer, then meticulously transposed into a stencil, cut out, and produced by hand. This approach, between digital precision and artisanal work, gives birth to unique pieces where material, textures, and the imprint of the handmade occupy a central place.
Conceived as an exclusive edition, this series explores a rich and evolving graphic language, oscillating between typography and illustration. Each piece becomes a singular object, offered in a framed or unframed version, according to your preference.
